Policies: We stock the knives and products on this site, we will make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours of receipt of your order.  Orders received after 2:00 PM Pacific Time will be shipped the following business day.  If there are any delays with your order, you will be notified by email or phone.

Availability:
If you don’t see a knife you are shopping for on our site, please e-mail us so that we may quote you on that item as we have access to a tremendous inventory. Even if you don’t see it here we still can get almost any knife currently in production.

Privacy:
Your privacy is absolutely protected and respected.  We do not sell your information nor do we share it with anyone not directly involved in your order.

Return Policy:
We offer the highest quality products. If you are not satisfied with an item you have purchased, you may return it within 30 days for a replacement or an exchange.  You must call for a return authorization before attempting to make a return.   Products presented for exchange must be returned unused in the original packaging.  All sales are considered final. Returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.  Dantes Knifeworks and it's employees do not represent the place of manufacture of any products.   We will not accept any returns if you are not happy with where a product is made.  If you are concerned, please email us and we will be happy to advise you where an item is made.  Most US manufacturers have products manufactured off shore to maintain a competitive advantage and from time to time the place of manufacture may change.  There are absolutely no returns allowed on engraved merchandise, if you have a question, please call before placing your order.

Repairs and Warranty Information:
Most knives that we offer for sale are covered by the manufacturers limited lifetime warranty. Please keep all warranty information you receive with your purchase.  We do not repair knives.

Standard Domestic Shipping (within the United States) :

All quoted rates are based on 1 pound.  We will make every attempt to ship your order the same day we receive your order.

Our base Priority Mail rate is $7.95.  The service is excellent, normally taking only 2-3 days in transit, but there is no accurate tracking available with this option and no service guarantees.  All parcels are insured.

Our basic FedEx Ground shipping charge is $10.99 and the package tracking is excellent.  We also offer FedEx Overnight Shipping, Fed Ex 2 Day Shipping  and FedEx Express Saver Shipping. 

We can also ship via UPS on request.

Swords ordered for air shipping (Next Day, 2 Day and 3 Day Select) are subject to shipping charge adjustments due to dimensional weight and fuel surcharges applied by Federal Express.  Shipping charges calculated on swords are estimates only.

Sales Tax: California residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax.

Global Priority Mail is used for international shipments where possible. Postage for each shipment will be calculated individually.  A handling charge of $5.00 will be added to the actual postage on knives and $10.00 will be added on orders with combined blade lengths over 18".    Attention:  We do not ship swords internationally, Canada is an exception.  Most swords can not be sent via Air Mail or other express freight carriers due to package size restrictions.  All prices quoted are U.S. dollars.  ***We will require a photo copy of the Credit Card being submitted, both front and back, and a copy of an Identification Card with the signature of the card holder before shipping internationally.  This can be faxed or e-mailed in jpeg format.  We will prosecute fraudulent transactions.

It is the responsibility of the international customer (buyer) to have foreknowledge of and to pay any duties levied by your country's Customs Service.  We have no control over the amount of time a package will take in transit or the time it will take for a package to clear Customs.  We further do not refund any monies if an item is confiscated or rejected by Customs, nor are we responsible for any duties and fees beyond shipping charges and insurance.
