Dantes Knifeworks Knife Stands
Celebrate the gift, show off the heirloom or honor the treasure with a hand crafted knife stand from Dantes Knifeworks. Using beautiful woods and burls, these stands measure approximately 7" X 3" and are crafted from solid 1/4" stock, especially selected for special grain and interesting patterns. Finishes are hand rubbed to bring out natural beauty, stains are only used where indicated and all woods are hand waxed to protect the finish. This new line will be sure to delight the collector and honoree alike and fit a wide style of knife shapes and sizes. Laser cut Acrylic posts hold the knife above the stand while a foam backing on the base protects your furniture. Center to center distance between the posts is 3.5" and are designed so they don't interfere with the beauty or interest of the knife being displayed. Knives pictured above for reference range from 4.5"- 8" overall length and are not included. These stands are all engraveable and engraving can be added during check out. Lighter stand have the most contrast for engraving purposes, but all engrave well..
*Because patterns in nature are random, these pictures should be used for reference only, your stand may vary. All woods used for stands are chosen for dramatic characteristics and pleasing patterns. We consider knots and the special way nature created a picture in the wood surrounding them to be a bonus and include them whenever possible.

And for the ladies.... Make/Model: Spyderco Endura 4, PinkBlade Material: VG-10 Length/Style: 3.75" Drop Point, Partially Serrated Handle Material: Hot Pink FRN Closed Length: 5" Sheath or Clip: Pocket Clip Description: In 1990 Spyderco shook things up by introducing Endura. This opened up the knife market to lightweight performance, one-hand open pocket knives that just about everyone could afford. As one of Spyderco's best sellers, the improvements haven't slowed since. Refinement has been so ongoing and continual Spyderco tagged the updating/upgrading process with the term CQI- Constant Quality Improvement. During the CQI journey Spyderco tweaked ergonomics, refined blade steels and fine-tuned their performance countless times. They are an evolutionary work in progress and now have screw construction making cleaning and adjusting easier. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handles come molded with Bi-Directional Texturing for preferred traction and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners make the knife stronger without adding weight and make an anchor for all external and internal components to attach through adding sturdiness and rigidity. Their VG-10 blades are flat saber-ground with a stronger tip and larger 13mm opening hole. The hot pink version pictured here will provide the ladies a tool to be reckoned with.
